About myFinnexa

myFinnexa is a small, free budgeting tool for people who want a clear answer to one question: where is my money actually going? No account, no spreadsheet wrestling, no thirty-day trial that quietly turns into a subscription.

Why we built it

Most of us have tried to budget at some point. You open a spreadsheet, set up a few columns, fill in last month's numbers — and then life happens, the spreadsheet goes stale, and a few weeks later you have no idea whether you're ahead or behind. The apps that promise to fix this usually want you to create an account, link your bank, and hand over your transaction history before they'll show you anything useful.

We wanted the opposite of that. myFinnexa loads instantly, asks for nothing, and gives you a running picture of your finances the moment you type in your first income or expense. You can have a working budget in about two minutes, and you never have to trust us with a single password or account number — because there's nothing to log into.

Everything you enter is stored locally in your own browser. Your figures stay on your device. We can't see them, we don't back them up, and we never sell them — there's simply no server holding your data.

What you can do here

myFinnexa started as a personal budget tracker and grew into two connected tools:

Both tools convert different pay frequencies to a common basis, so a weekly cost and a yearly one can sit in the same total and still add up correctly. That sounds obvious, but it's the part most people get wrong when they budget by hand.

Who builds myFinnexa

It is worth being clear about this, because money tools carry an assumption of authority they have not always earned. myFinnexa is not built by a bank, a lender, an accountancy firm or any financial institution. It is built and maintained by a software professional, working independently.

It exists because of the same problem you probably have. Years of trying to keep a budget in spreadsheets, forgetting the annual bills, guessing at what a weekly cost meant per month, and quietly giving up around week three. The tools that promised to fix it wanted a bank login and a subscription. So this one got built instead — first as something personal, then as something worth sharing.

What that means in practice is honest on both sides. There is no institutional backing here, no regulatory licence, and nothing on this site is personal financial advice — for anything that carries real weight, speak to a qualified adviser. What you do get is a tool built by someone who has run into these problems personally, and who cares whether the arithmetic is actually right. If you spot something wrong, tell us — that feedback goes straight to the person who can fix it.

How we keep it free

myFinnexa is free and we'd like to keep it that way. To cover the cost of running and improving it, we show a few unobtrusive ads through Google AdSense. That's the whole business model — no premium tier, no locked features, no nagging. If you ever feel an ad is intrusive or out of place, we genuinely want to know.
