🔒 Short version: myFinnexa stores all your budget data only in your own browser using local storage. We never collect, transmit, or store your financial information on any server.

1. Who we are

myFinnexa ("we", "us", "our") is a free, browser-based personal budget tracker available at www.myfinnexa.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information we collect

We collect two types of information, described below.

a) Data you enter into myFinnexa (stored locally only). When you add income or expense entries, these are saved exclusively in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to myFinnexa or any third party. Clearing your browser data will permanently delete it.

b) Automatically collected data (analytics & ads). We use the following third-party services that may collect anonymised usage data:

3. Cookies

myFinnexa itself does not set any first-party cookies. However, Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies on your device to measure traffic and serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or by using the NAI opt-out tool.

4. How we use information

The anonymised analytics data collected by Google Analytics is used solely to:

Understand how visitors use myFinnexa so we can improve the product
Monitor site performance and fix errors
Measure the effectiveness of the service over time

We do not sell, rent, or trade any data to third parties.

5. Your financial data & local storage

All budget entries, categories, and settings you create in myFinnexa are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. This means:

Your data is private to your device and browser.
We have no access to your financial data at any time.
If you clear your browser's site data or use a different device or browser, your data will not be available.
We recommend noting down or backing up any figures you want to keep.

6. Children's privacy

myFinnexa is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

7. Third-party links

myFinnexa may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

8. Data security

Because your financial data is stored entirely on your own device and never transmitted to us, the security of that data depends on the security of your own device and browser. We do not transmit, process, or store your personal financial information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of myFinnexa after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
