1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using myFinnexa at www.myfinnexa.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of myFinnexa after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of service
myFinnexa is a free, browser-based personal budget tracking tool. It allows you to:
- Record income and expense entries by category and frequency
- View summarised totals across different time periods
- Forecast savings with inflation and income-rise modelling
- Visualise spending breakdowns through charts and insights
myFinnexa does not connect to any bank, financial institution, or external data source.
3. Not financial advice
The forecasts and calculations provided by myFinnexa are estimates based solely on the data you enter. They are not guarantees of future financial outcomes. myFinnexa accepts no liability for any financial decisions made based on the information displayed.
myFinnexa is not a bank, a lender, an accountancy firm or any other financial institution, and it is not authorised or regulated as one. It is an independently built calculation tool, created by a software professional rather than by a licensed financial body. You can read more about who builds it on our About page.
4. Your responsibilities
Your budget data is stored on your own device, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Because of this, you are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of the data you enter
- Keeping your own backup of anything you want to retain (for example, by noting it elsewhere)
- Any loss of data resulting from clearing your browser cache or site data, switching devices or browsers, using private/incognito mode, or browser updates
Please note: if you clear your browser cache, all of your saved myFinnexa data will be permanently deleted. myFinnexa has no access to your data and cannot recover it if it is lost.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use myFinnexa only for lawful personal purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute myFinnexa's source code without permission
- Use myFinnexa in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
- Use automated tools to scrape or access the service in bulk
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
6. Intellectual property
All content, design, branding, and code that makes up the myFinnexa website and application is the property of myFinnexa and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.
7. Third-party services
myFinnexa relies on third-party services โ Google Analytics and Google AdSense, along with the open-source charting library Chart.js โ each of which is governed by its own terms of service. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of these services. For details on what data they collect and how to opt out, please see our Privacy Policy.
8. Advertisements
myFinnexa displays advertisements served by Google AdSense to support the free operation of the service. These ads are clearly labelled. We do not endorse the products or services advertised, and ad content is determined by Google based on contextual and interest-based factors.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
myFinnexa is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of any calculations or forecasts.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, myFinnexa and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of โ or inability to use โ the Service.
